The architecture

Inside the simulation engine.

Four stages, calibrated to your workforce. No surveys go out. No employee knows a simulation is running. No individual record surfaces to the model.

The four layers, at a glance.

Population Engine

A synthetic census of your org, not a generic industry model.

No individual record ever enters it. Each synthetic agent stands for a type of employee (an age band, a tenure, a role, a location), statistically faithful to your workforce.

Diffusion layer

How reactions travel, team to team.

Models how reactions travel through your org network once the stimulus lands. Consensus forms in some segments; resistance hardens in others.

Response engine

A full distribution, not a single answer.

For every agent, SynPop estimates how likely each answer is, so disagreement inside a group survives into the result instead of being averaged away.

Culture Calibration

Anchored to your own historical survey data.

A generic model answers like an industry average. Calibration pulls the forecast toward how your people actually responded before, so the result reflects your culture.

How a simulation actually runs.

  1. Step 01

    Population synthesis

Upload anonymised HR data, or define a population from your org structure and role bands. SynPop creates a statistically faithful census of synthetic agents (one per anonymised record) that mirrors your workforce, without retaining any individual record.

  2. Step 02

    Stimulus injection

The stimulus is the policy, memo or change you want to test, written in plain language. SynPop injects it and runs it against every synthetic agent, calculating the full probability distribution of responses, not a single point estimate you have to trust.

  3. Step 03

    Network diffusion

Individual reactions are only the first signal. SynPop models how opinion propagates through your org, across teams, hierarchies and tenure bands. Consensus forms in some segments; resistance hardens in others.

  4. Step 04

    The decision cockpit

Predicted support and friction by segment, the drivers behind each, and side-by-side scenario comparisons. A forecast you can take into a leadership meeting, not a dashboard you have to interpret yourself.

A decision cockpit for HR leaders.

SynPop does not just generate responses. It helps HR teams understand where a decision is likely to work, where it may create friction, and what to adjust before launch.

  • Predicted response distributions across the company
  • Segment-level differences and demographic drill-downs
  • Support, resistance, and flight risk indicators
  • Key drivers of sentiment and actionable recommendations
